“I am very hungry and I am confident I will defeat Nonito Donaire, I believe I will knock him out in 5 or 6 rounds,” ayon kay Walters na nainsulto sa pahayag ng “The Filipino Flash” na wala siyang nakalaban na may pangalan sa boksing.

“He says I have not fought anybody and that he has knocked out more opponents than I have, and I say, sure but none of them at 126 lbs,” giit ni Walters na nagsasanay ngayon sa Panama. “I have used Liborio (Solis), a Mexican and another Venezuelan to work intelligence, strength and speed. We will do two or three more sparring sessions and we are done. I have worked hard.”

“I am ready to box, because I don’t think Nonito is coming to fight. I wish he does, to get it over with,” diin ni Walters. “He is not hungrier than I am, because if he wants to be the champion to buy a house, I want to buy 10. I am a man of gym, and never get away. I am in the gym all year long, I was born there. My first toy was a pair of boxing gloves my father gave me.”

“I like to win with a beautiful boxing, not running. I want to be the kind of boxer who defeats a great figure like (Floyd) Mayweather (Jr.), than when he leaves the ring, he has four good fight offers. I want that everyone wants to fight with me,” sinabi pa ni Walters habang nanonood ng laban ni Ali. “I want to be like him, fight that beautiful and knock out as well.”

“He has a good jab, fights well but I will do it better. I am not worried; he is the one who should be worried,” dagdag ng Jamaican. “I will travel in 126 lbs, because one usually gains a couple of pounds, that I will get rid of as soon as I get there. After defeating him, at the post fight press conference I will tell Nonito, ‘Thank you for allow me to fight with someone.”
