“Legazpi City is located outside the designated six-kilometer permanent and even eight-kilometer extended danger zones. More visitors and tourists even flock to the city and neighboring localities of Albay to witness from safe distance and ideal viewing points the glowing crater and picturesque of the volcano spewing lava,” sabi ni Salceda.

“In case of ash explosion, ash fall is expected to drift westward with the prevailing wind direction of Southwest monsoon thus posing no danger to air and land travel going in and out of Legazpi City,” aniya pa.
