LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – Inihayag kahapon ang pagbibitiw ng apat na political leaders sa Pangasinan mula sa pagiging kasapi ng partidong Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC).

Nagbitiw na mula sa NPC sina Pangasinan Gov. Amado T. Espino Jr., Bautista Mayor Amadeo T. Espino, Bugallon Mayor Jumel Anthony I. Espino at Board Member Amado “Pogi” I. Espino III.

May petsang Hulyo 31, 2014 ang resignation letter na isinumite ng mga Espino kay NPC President Georgidi B. Aggabao.

“As elected leader of the entire province of Pangasinan, the undersigned Governor finds it grossly improper, and totally out of place, to announce political preferences, or to actively take part in any partisan activity, at this point in time when the next elections, in May 2016, are still a long way to go,” saad sa liham.
