Nagbigay-pahayag si Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco kaugnay sa promotional materials ng ahensya kung saan makikita ang larawan sa mga ito.
"What is being questioned is why I'm very visible. The accusation is that I'm very visible because I wish to promote myself. But, could there perhaps be room for argument that I'm very visible because I'm simply working?" ani Frasco sa Kapihan sa Maynila Bay forum nitong Miyerkules, Pebrero 4.
"There's no reason for me to promote myself because I'm not running for any national position [in 2028]," dagdag pa niya.
Ipinaliwanag din ni Frasco ang tungkol sa pagbalandra ng pangalan at mukha niya sa local destinations. Aniya, ito raw ay "welcome appearance" sa tuwing bibisita siya sa mga local government units.

"In terms of my name, my image appearing in our destinations... these are welcome appearance, I suppose, when I visit our LGUs," anang Kalihim.
Samantala, ipinag-utos na rin umano ni Frasco sa mga regional office ng DOT na tanggalin na ang mga promotional material na may mukha niya.
"I already issued an order to our regional offices to take down any material that may bare my image, to not produce any material that may bare my image, and we could request our LGUs please do not put up any tarps that bare my image," giit pa niya.
Matatandaan sa ikinasang pagdinig ng Senate Committee on Tourism noong Martes, Pebrero 3, sinabi ni Sen. Raffy Tulfo na base sa hinaing ng netizens, tila pino-promote ni Sec. Frasco ang kaniyang sarili—na dapat ay ang Pilipinas.
