Inilunsad ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang 24/7 Election Task Force (ETF) Operation and Monitoring Center sa Bulwagan ng Karunungan, Central Office upang mabigyang-pansin ang mga isyu at alalahaning may kaugnayan sa mga guro at paaralan na maaaring mangyari sa pagdaraos ng 2022 National and Local Elections nitong Lunes, Mayo 9.
Nabatid na bukas ang DepEd ETF Operation and Monitoring Center simula ala-1:00 ng hapon ng Mayo 8 hanggang alas-5:00 ng hapon ng Mayo 10 upang matiyak ang pagsunod sa lahat ng kautusan at tagubilin kaugnay ng eleksyon.
“As our stakeholders partake in the National and Local Elections, we want to ensure that we will be able to address the issues and concerns of our personnel rendering services at this time of the year," ayon kay Education Secretary Leonor Briones, sa isang pahayag nitong Lunes.
“The Department of Education has been proactively coordinating with the Commission on Elections and other agencies involved in this endeavor. We call on all our officials and personnel to maintain neutrality, focus on non-partisan public service, and remain a beacon of integrity,” dagdag niya.

Magsisilbi rin aniya ang Operation and Monitoring Center bilang institutional link ng DepEd sa mga boluntaryong organisasyon, indibidwal, at katuwang na ahensiya sa pagsasagawa ng 2022 National at Local Elections.
Magkakaloob rin ang nasabing center ng legal, teknikal, at iba pang tulong sa mga guro sa mga isyu, alalahanin, at problemang maaaring lumabas kaugnay ng May 9 NLE at pakikipag-ugnayan sa iba pang ahensya ng gobyerno.
Higit pa rito, ang mga miyembro ng task force ay inatasan din na idokumento at iulat ang lahat ng mga tauhan, guro, at mga isyu at alalahanin na may kaugnayan sa paaralan bago, habang, at pagkatapos ng halalan.
“The Department of Education (DepEd) is one of the national agencies deputized by COMELEC to ensure free, orderly, honest, peaceful, and credible elections. We will ensure that the Monitoring Center will help our poll workers during election day,” saad naman ni DepEd ETF Chair at Undersecretary for Administration Alain Del Pascua.
Nabatid na upang epektibong makapagbigay ng mahahalaga at pangunahing serbisyo sa mga stakeholder, hinati ang DepEd-ETF sa limang grupo, ito ay Steering Group, Operations, Legal Support Group, Secretariat, Call Center Monitoring Data Base Unit, at Logistics and External Coordination Mobile Unit.
Magsisilbing Vice-Chair ng ETF si Pangalawang Kalihim sa Field Operations, DEACO, and Palarong Pambansa Secretariat Atty. Revsee Escobedo, habang si Procurement Management Service Director IV Atty. Marcelo Bragado ang mamumuno sa ETF Operations and Legal Support.
