Nasikwat naman ni Dela Salle University (DLSU) -Taft stalwart National Master Giovanni Mejia ang third place na may 11.5 points, angat ng isang puntos kay fourth place Fide Master Christopher Castellano na may 10.5 points.
Magkasalo naman sina National Master at United States chess master Almario Marlon Bernardino Jr. at PH whiz kid Jasper Concepcion Faeldonia ng Arellano University sa fifth hanggang sixth spots na may tig 10.0 points.
Ang iba pang players na lumahok sa one-day event na layuning maisulong ang pagkakaisa sa mga chess players at makatulong na makadiskubre ng future chess masters ay sina Genghis Katipunan Imperial (9.0 pts.), National Master Romeo Alcodia (7 pts.), Eduardo Nival Campos Jr. (7 pts.), Noel Jay “Super B’ Estacio (7.0 pts.), Joseph Verceles Bendal (6.5 pts.), Narciso Gumila (6.0 pts.), Jerome Alcodia (5.0 pts.), Gabriel Cartel (2 pts.), Raul Mejia (1.0 pt.) at Glenn Cartel 0.5 point.
Itinataguyod ang torneo nina Engr. Ernie Fetisan Faeldonia, AGM and FM elect Robert Suelo Jr., IA James Infiesto, engineer Robert Arellano, Mary Jane Jacobo Tiburcio, Marvin Dionson at Ronnie Tamares.
