TUMATAGINTING na P130,000 cash prize ang ipamimigay sa mga magwawagi sa 2018 Alphaland National Executive Chess Championships Grand Finals sa Nobyembre 2018.
Ito ang ipinabatid kahapon nina Philippine Executive Chess Association (PECA) founding president Atty. Cliburn Anthony A. Orbe at Press Relation Officer (PRO) Dr. Alfredo Paez.
“The 64-member cast of the Grand Finals patterned after the World Cup will undergo 6 cycles or rounds of elimination before 8 players will receive a bonanza of cash dividends in the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) sanctioned tournament and tie up with Kasparov Chess Foundation Asia Pacific,” pahayag ng organizing committee.
Tatangapin ng Grand Champion ang trophy at champion’s purse na P50,000 . Nakalaan sa 2nd placer o losing finalist ang trophy at cash prize P30,000.
Akari Sports wala pang balak pasukin ang PBA
Magtutuos naman ang dalawang losing semifinalist para sa 3rdat 4th place kung saan ang third placer winning player ay may trophy at P20,000, habang ang 4th placer ay may P10,000 cash. Ang apat na quarterfinalists ay tatangap ng medalya at P5,000 cash.
“For the rest of the Grand Finalists who are not lucky this time, they will receive written citations & a million thanks from PECA for their wonderful participation in our event which further strenghten the goodwill & camaraderie towards a great chess explosion among our country’s Executive ranks which serves as the pillar of the Philippines’ fine chess tradition,” pahayag ni Atty. Cliburn Anthony A. Orbe, treasurer ng National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP).

Pangungunahan ni seven-time Philippine Executive Champion Dr. Jenny Mayor at 1st leg champion engineer Benjamin “Benjie” Esquejo ang mga kalahok sa pagtulak ng 2nd leg ng 2018 Alphaland National Executive Chess Championships sa Pebrero 24 sa Activity Hall ng Alphaland Makati Place, Ayala Avenue sa Makati City.
Makakasama nina Mayor at Esquejo sa 2nd leg ina Dr. Alfred Paez, Dr. Angelo Subida, Atty. Rodrigo Artuz , IT Manager Edwin Sison ng Vital C Health Products, Inc., Dioniver Medrano ng SSS, Sales Director Samivin V.
