Ayon kay Chavez, natanggap niya ang magandang balita mula sa mga doktor na nag-opera kay Angeline Fernando, 24, ng Pasay City, dakong 3:46 ng madaling araw kahapon.

“Angeline’s arm is reconnected to her body. The bone, the nerve and vessels are reconnected. She is under observation at least until Friday,” ani Chavez.

Kaugnay nito, tiniyak ni Chavez sa pamilya Fernando ang pagkakaloob ng kanilang tanggapan ng tulong pinansiyal para sa pagpapagamot ni Angeline at hihingi rin sila ng financial assistance mula sa iba pang government agencies.

“I will personally supervise this (pagbibigay at paghingi ng financial assistance kay Angeline). Sinabi ko rin ito kay Mang Jose (ama ni Angeline) noong gabi na kami ay magkausap sa telepono,” ayon pa kay Chavez.
