Sinibak ng Office of the Ombudsman sa serbisyo ang siyam na opisyal ng Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), National Council for Muslim Filipinos (NCMF), Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), at dating staff ni dating Senator Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan kaugnay sa P900 milyong Malampaya scam at pork barrel fund anomaly noong 2012.
Pinatawan ng dismissal from the service sina Mehol Sadain, Fedelina Aldanese, Galay Makalinggan, Sania Busran, Aurora Aragon-Mabang, Olga Galido ng NCMF, Michael Benjamin, dating political affairs chief ni Honasan, matapos mapatunayang nagkasala sa reklamong Grave Misconduct and Conduct Prejudicial to the Best Interest of the Service.
Si dating DAR-Finance Management director Teresita Panlilio at empleyadong si Ronald Venancio naman ay napatunayang guilty sa kasong Grave Misconduct. Kasama sila 25 akusado sa 2 counts ng plunder, multiple graft at malversation dahil sa illegal diversion ng Malampaya funds. (Rommel P. Tabbad)
