“Totohanin natin.” Ito ang matigas na sagot ng presidential son na si Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, sa hamon ni Senator Antonio Trillanes IV na magpa-drug test, kung saan iginiit ng una na magpasuri din ang lahat ng senador.
Dagdag pa ni Duterte, “ug akoy makakuhag ebidensiya nimo igawas ko gyud na. tininood ta na istorya. Dili nang puro binuang (when I find the evidence against you, I will be the one to make it public. Let’s not joke around this, let’s do this for real.)”
Una ay hinamon ni Trillanes si Duterte na pangalanan ang senador na sinasabi nitong gumagamit ng cocaine. Humantong ang hamon sa mismong pagpapa-drug test.
“If the rank and file could submit themselves to drug testing, the more should those elected in public office. Many of them, if not all, may have submitted themselves to a simple drug test before, but I encourage them to undergo the more precise examinations available in Metro Manila that would not just detect illegal drugs in urine or blood but even in hair follicles,” dagdag pa ng batang Duterte.

Ipinanukala ni Duterte ang pagsailalim sa high-precision drug test center sa Bonifacio Global City sa Taguig, kung saan sa hair samples lang, makikita kung sino ang gumagamot ng cocaine, opiates, metamphetamine, marijuana, ketamine, at benzodiazepine. (Yas D. Ocampo)
