TBILISI (AFP) – Kinumpirma ng parliament ng Georgia noong Miyerkules si dating foreign minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili bilang prime minister ng bansa, anim na araw matapos ang sorpresang pagbitiw sa puwesto ni Irakli Garibashvili.

“The parliament has approved the new government by 86 votes to 28,” sabi ni parliament speaker David Usupashvili.

Bago ang botohan, sinabi ni Kvirikashvili, 48, na pagtutuunan ng kanyang cabinet ang “economic development and ensuring people’s wellbeing.”
