MOSCOW (AFP) — Sinabi ni President Vladimir Putin noong Huwebes na nagbigay ang Russia ng impormasyon sa United States sa flight path ng eroplano na pinabagsak ng Turkey sa Syrian border.

“The American side, which leads the coalition that Turkey belongs to, knew about the location and time of our planes’ flights, and we were hit exactly there and at that time,” sabi ni Putin sa isang joint press conference kasama ang kanyang French counterpart na si Francois Hollande sa Kremlin.

Bago ang pag-uusap nila ni Hollande, nagsagutan sina Putin at Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, sinabi ng Russian leader na naghihintay siya ng apology at sumagot si Erdogan na hindi ito mangyayari.

Hindi tinanggap ni Putin noong Huwebes ang aniya’y “rubbish” na palusot ng Turkey na hindi nito babarilin ang jet kung nabatid na ito ay Russian.

“They [our planes] have identification signs and these are well visible,” ani Putin “Instead of [...] ensuring this never happens again, we are hearing unintelligible explanations and statements that there is nothing to apologise about.”
