“I’m fine. I’m in excellent physical condition thanks to the training I’ve had for this fight on November 22. Rocky Fuentes is a strong opponent, who uses his hands well and throws a lot of punches. I hope all things go as well as they did in all my fights,” sinabi ni Gonzalez kay boxing writer Haxel Ruben Murillo ng notifight.com.

“We’ve worked hard on the physical part. We hope to God that we have no problems on the day of the fight. I’ve been sparring with strong guys such as Felix Alvarado, looking for the best conditions to face Rocky,” dagdag ni Gonzalez. “I’m leaving on the 6th of November to Japan and I am grateful to God for all things.”
