TRIGGER WARNING: SUICIDE
Naglabas ng pahayag ang Archdiocese of Cebu kaugnay sa pagpanaw ng isang pari nitong Biyernes, Nobyembre 14.
Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ni Cebu Archbishop Alberto Uy na nagpakamatay si Rev. Fr. Decoroso "Cocoi" Olmilla, 68-anyos.
"An in-depth investigation into the untimely death of Rev Fr. Decoroso "Cocoi" Olmilla has revealed that his mental health collapsed and he has succumbed to the unexpected tragic end of taking his own life," saad ni Archbishop Uy.

"We thank all the local authorities for their effort in providing the necessary assistance in providing careful examination on the matter surrounding his death in the spirit of truth and justice," dagdag pa niya.
Umapela rin ang Cebu Archbishop sa publiko na bigyang-respeto ang privacy ng pamilyang naiwan ni Fr. Olmilla.
Matatandaang noong Nobyembre 12, nang mapabalitang natagpuan si Fr. Olmilla sa kaniyang condominium unit sa Brgy. Mabolo, Cebu City na wala nang buhay, at may sugat sa leeg.
