“One of the things I appreciate most about this lockdown out of town is being exposed to birds, dragonflies, butterfies, ducks, geese, frogs, snails, bees and other animal and insect life. I’m also able to practice being a furmom to my Pomeranians Churro & Chica! Living in the middle of a forest gives me an even deeper love for nature & animals. I sleep with crickets buzzing outside, stars glistening in the sky, fresh mountain air.

“Everywhere I look, I see all the veggies I eat. My face when I realize that all the veggies and coconuts cooked+served here are picked fresh from the tree, soil and gardens. The new luxury.

“Merienda hour. I’m out to pick some fresh avocados from the tree and then gonna get my ingredients together so we can all learn to make some homemade guacamole!”
