"With the official declaration of the World Health Organization ( WHO) of the Covid-19 outbreak as a global pandemic, the Presidential Proclamation No. 922 declaring a State of Public Health Emergency throughout the Philippines, The Executive Order 112, 2020 through Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the management of Emerging Infectious Disease Resolution No. 33 inposing Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) and General Community Quarantine ( GCQ) in certain areas and the evolving of Covid-19 situation in the country, the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) inform the public that Philippine National Games (PNG) and Philippine Youth Games- Batang Pinoy (PYG-BP) for the 2020 calendar has been CANCELLED, "pahayag ni Iroy.
