NAGPASALAMAT si Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray sa mainit na pagtanggap ng mga miyembro ng Armed Forces of The Philippines (AFP) sa kanya.
The beauty queen paid a courtesy call to the AFP at Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City, yesterday, Aug. 17.
“I was very honored to be invited here to the general headquarters of the Philippine Armed Forces. It such a warm reception, I feel greatly honored,” lahad niya sa video na ini-upload ni Ted Cordero ng GMA News sa Twitter.

“It really is amazing to be recognized by the Philippine Armed Forces. They really do bring so much pride to our country and their full work is to give us safe and thriving country, and also for its people. I feel greatly honored to be here.”
Inihayag din ni Catriona ang willingness ng AFP na tulungan siya sa kanyang advocacy na patungkol sa edukasyon ng mga kabataan.
“And also about women empowerment. It’s also an inspiration for our Filipino youth to look up to the military figures, especially female soldiers. I see the duality of strength and selfless (in them),” lahad pa niya.
Bukas naman si Catriona sa usapin ng pagsali sa AFP bilang reservist, ngunit hindi pa siya sigurado kung anong field ang papasukan.
“It’s something that you’ll definitely learn in giving back to your country. But I’m definitely open to it,” sabi pa niya.
