Kumpiyansa si Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process Secretary Jesus G. Dureza na muling maisusulong ang prosesong pangkapayapaan ngayong taon sa ibang paraan, sa kabila ng kabiguan ng usapang pangkapayapaan sa mga rebeldeng komunista.
Sa isang panayam sa telebisyon kamakailan, binigyang-diin ng presidential peace adviser na hindi nagtatapos ang proseso sa pagwawakas ng negosasyon sa Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF) dahil “there are many other paths to peace.”
