Aakyat ng timbang si IBO super feather weight champion Jack Asis para hamunin si WBC Asian Boxing Council Continental lightweight champion Waylon Law sa Mayo 13 sa Rumours International, Toowoomba, Australia.
Ayon sa manedyer ni Asis na si Aussie Brandon Smith, malaking pagkakataon para kay Asis na hamunin si Law sa 10-rounder bout na may catch weight na 60 kgs. sa posibilidad na makapasok ang Pilipino sa WBC lightweight ranking kung magwawagi sa laban.
“I’m very excited to announce this match up. It’s a perfect fight for both Waylon and Jack,” sabi ni Smith sa Philboxing.com. “Waylon was scheduled to meet Corey McConnell who is number 12 in the world, with that fight falling through now he has a shot against a current world champion.”
