USAP-USAPAN hanggang ngayon ang pag-amin nina James Reid at Nadine Lustre sa tunay nilang relasyon bago natapos ang kanilang JaDine In Love Concert nitong nakaraang Sabado.

Nakausap namin ang concert at TV director ng show na si Direk Paul Basinillo at sinabi niya na during rehearsals nila ay binanggit ni James sa kanya ang gusto nitong gawin.

“James told me he wanted to say something at the end of the show,” simulang kuwento ni Direk Paul. “I thought it was to thank the audience. So we both agreed that once they reached the end of the lifter exit, he will give me a visual cue (hug) then I faded out the music.

“Once there was silence, I knew it was more than just thanking the audience. It was also making our whole night the most memorable of all. Then he said, ‘I love you’. Loud cheers. Music in. And that’s a wrap.

“In one way, I’m honored to be part of the gimmick only James and I knew. So, yes, I was a bit surprised. But I saw glimpses of it during rehearsals when Nadine was tired from our stage blocking and series of prod numbers. Her feet was obviously in pain, and James was there to help and give more than just a helping hand. In a way, when we thought of the title with the play of words ‘Jadine Love’ spelled out as Jadine In Love, maybe we were being guided by destiny all along.”

Pero sa mismong concert na sa Araneta sinabi sa kanya ni James Reid ang plano nito.

“I asked permission to Direk Paul to cut down the music for my surprise announcement,” pag-amin naman ng binata.

Masaya si Direk Paul sa big reveal ng JaDine tandem.
