GENERAL SANTOS CITY – Susulong ang Bobby D. Pacquiao Random Chess Festival ngayon sa SM Mall dito.

Inorganisa ng Grandmaster Eugene Torre Chess Foundation at sanctioned ng National Chess Federation of the Philippines, ang torneo ay may kabuuang P2 milyon premyo. Layunin nito na palakasin ang kalidad ng chess sa lalawigan, higit at naniniwala ang nakatatandang kapatid ni eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao na malaki ang tsansa ng Pinoy sa chess.

"Each team shall be composed of four regular players and without alternate unlike that held under the auspices of Congressman Manny," pahayag ni Torre.

"Participating players must have an average ELO or NCFP rating 2100 or below based on the January 1, 2016 ranking."
