“Make no mistake: Despite all these successes, and despite the breadth of what the Filipino people have achieved in just five years and five months, I am aware that much more needs to be done,” pahayag ni PNoy sa idinaos na 3rd United Nations Convention against Corruption State Conference (UNCAC) sa Malacañang.

“I stand here today in commitment: Until the very last day of my term, we will strive to do even more against corruption and to uplift as many of our countrymen as possible, and we encourage our colleagues from the Legislature and the Judiciary to continue doing the same,” dagdag ni Aquino.

“I have faith that, with all that we have achieved together these past few years, our people will not choose to backslide; that they will choose officials with the integrity and the capabilities to build on our successes, so that we, as one Philippine nation, can give rise to a country we can be proud to bequeath to coming generations,” pagtatapos ng Pangulo.

No morecorruption! No morebacksliding!

Para naman kay Chief Justice Sereno, “Come forward with complaints, evidence to ensure that we have a bench and bar that adhere to the high standards of ethics and professionalism,” himok ni Sereno.

“Getting rid of corruption is a shared responsibility not just of the people in government but also every member of society because corruption affects us all. The people should likewise be conscious that their own acts are crucial in ensuring that corrupt behavior is not reinforced,” dagdag ni Sereno.

“Speak up and speak out. Be vigilant against corruption,” panawagan ng chief justice. (FRED M. LOBO)
