NAGBIGAY na ng statement si Ms. Annette Gozon tungkol sa lumabas sa isang blog na hindi na raw matutuloy ang teleserye nina Alden Richards at Maine Mendoza, at sinabi pang dahil daw kay Ms. Lilybeth Rasonable, senior vice president ng GMA Entertainment TV, dahil gusto nitong buwagin ang love team at magbuo ng bagong love team sa GMA Artist Center.
Pinabulaaanan ito ni Ms. Rasonable at wala raw siyang nakakausap tungkol sa isyu.
Heto ang statement ni Ms. Gozon:

“Just so the speculations don’t become blown out of proportion here is the truth. We would want nothing more than to show an AlDub soap opera in primetime. That is our priority and that is what we are continuously working since July.
However, please understand also that this will be the first soap opera of Alden and Maine, and they deserve a well-thought of and well-crafted soap opera that is not rushed and done haphazardly. Hopefully, one of the concepts will be approved soon by both the management team of Alden and of course Maine’s management team.
In the meantime, if Alden has separate assignment from Maine, it does not mean that these assignment will conctradict the AlDub love team. I would also suppose that the same is true for Maine’s endeavors even if these do not include Alden. There is no intent on the part of GMA to pair Alden with another girl aside from Maine. So, instead of fighting and arguing amongst ourselves, let us unite and support AlDub and pray for all their upcoming projects together, whether it be a soap opera, a movie or any other project that will come their way.” (NORA CALDERON)
