“Our sound is definitely different from anything I think we’ve all done before,” pahayag ni Jonas sa isang panayam kasama ang banda. “We’ve all really kind of agreed upon funk, dance and kind of rock music and that’s where we pull our biggest inspiration.”
Pumasok ang debut single ng DNCE na Cake By The Ocean sa No. 9 ng Billboard Hot 100 chart at kasalukuyang binubuo ng banda ang kanilang album.
“The record is going to be… a handful of 10, 12, 13 snapshots of just… what the DNCE world is,” ani Whittle.
“It’s romantic, it’s fun, it’s messy, it’s party, it’s sexual, it’s ‘Animal House’ the band,” aniya, tinutukoy ang comedy film.
“It’s very difficult to… reinvent yourself or come back with new music in this music industry,” ani Jonas. “So the fact we’ve got our own audiences and fans and we both have our own things going for ourselves, we definitely feel proud.”
I think if the time found itself in a creative way, maybe.”
“I don’t think you can say never because you never know. I think we’re both so focused on our individual paths and DNCE is just getting started… we have a long road ahead of us.”
