Ibinahagi ng batikang aktres na si Hilda Koronel ang ilang detalye tungkol sa bago niyang pelikulang “Sisa” na ididirek ni award-winning director Jun Robles Lana.
Sa latest episode ng “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” nitong Huwebes, Disyembre 19, sinabi ni Hilda na ang naturang pelikula ay isang historical-thriller.
“I’m going to do a historical-thriller for IdeaFirst with Jun Lana,” saad ni Hilda. “It’s called ‘Sisa.’ And they have misconceptions sometimes that it is about Jose Rizal’s ‘Sisa.’ But not, original story ito ni Jun.”
Kaya naman, ipinaliwanag ng batikang aktres kung paanong naiiba ang “Sisa” ni Rizal sa “Sisa” na nilikha ni Jun sa pelikula nito.

“Sisa was—they see her as a mad woman at the beginning. But she was. She was very damaged because her whole family was decimated during the occupation when the Spaniards seeded the country to the Americans. So occupied na naman ang Pilipinas,” saad ni Hilda.
“We’re showing the all sides—the bad sides of the Nationalists, the bad sides of the American occupation and all that—from the perspective of the people that were there in this particular bayan,” wika niya.
Dagdag pa niya, “So, parang loka-loka siya. She’s like loka talaga. [...] They asked her, ‘anong pangalan mo?[Sagot ni Sisa] ’ I don’t know.’ [...] Kasi loka-loka, pinangalan ng ‘Sisa’.”
Pero paglilinaw ni Hilda, hindi raw talaga baliw ang titular character ng naturang pelikula.
“She was aspired for the Nationalist, the revolutionaries,” aniya.
Ayon kay Boy, makakasama ni Hilda rito ang mga aktres na tulad nina Eugene Domingo, Jennica Garcia, at marami pang iba.
