BAGAMAT paulit-ulit na sinasabi ni Kris Aquino na wala siyang balak pasukin ang pulitika, marami pa rin ang naniniwala na isang araw ay bubulagain niya ang mga Pilipino sa pagsabak niya sa bagong mundo ng public service.
Nagpahaging pa nga si Kris na sakaling pasukin niya ang pulitika, never daw siyang magiging corrupt. Nag-comment din si Kris sa Instagram post ng isang user na tinalakay ang pagiging good taxpayer niya.

Sa caption, pinuri ni @askthetaxwhiz ang pagiging good taxpayer ng actress/TV host/ celebrity influencer, at may mensahe rin sa mga haters ni Kris.

“You may hate her guts but @krisaquino is paying her taxes! Among the affluent and influential families in the Philippines, she’s the only consistent individual top taxpayer.

“So to all bashers and haters, make sure you’re paying taxes before you say a word. At least, Kris is among the #CrazyRichAsians not one of the #CorruptRichAsians.”
Nakarating kay Kris ang nasabing post sa pamamagitan ng isang kaibigan, at nilinaw niyang hindi siya “crazy rich”.
“I’m at a very far distance from being ‘crazy rich’,” sagot ni Kris, at ipinaliwanag sa kanyang komento sa nasabing post kung paano niya narating ang estado niya ngayon.
“My mom legally emancipated me when I was 15 so what I earned wouldn’t be reflected on her, I’ve handled college tuition & allowance from college onward since.
“I always remind my sons—I was the daughter of a Cojuangco but their lolo was adamant about raising his children to become financially independent & our mom taught us the VALUES of consistent hard work, and being generous about sharing blessings.
“My sisters & brother are low maintenance, I work as hard as I do because of my sons & because we love travel. But let’s be honest, I have a weakness for nice clothes, makeup, shoes & watches, so I make sure to have an investment fund for our expansion.
“The 2 boys & I, together w/ our longtime complete staff now have very good medical coverage; and this is my life truth: what you work hard for, you appreciate & devote utmost professionalism to.” Sa huli, binigyang-diin ni Kris na hindi siya magiging #corruptrichasian.

Matatandaang nagbiro kamakailan si Kris sa isang hater tungkol sa pagkandidato niya bilang mayor ng Quezon City, makaraang batikusin nito ang ginawa niyang relief efforts sa mga binaha sa Marikina City, kamakailan.
“Kung trip n’yo kong bwisitin—you may get your worst nightmare come to life,” sabi ni Kris sa netizen na tinawag niyang “bully”.
Sinabi rin ni Kris sa hater na may posibilidad pang magbago ang isip niya tungkol sa pagsabak sa pulitika, lalo at kuwalipikado naman talaga siya.
