Nakiisa ang mga senador sa paggunita ng kapistahan ng Eid’l Adha ng mga Muslim.
Nanawagan si Senator Leila de Lima na maging matatag at manatiling nakatuon sa mga paniniwala at harapin ang anumang kaloob ng Maykapal.
“Today, our Muslim community commemorates the sacrifice of Ibrahim when he demonstrated his strong faith and submission to the will of Allah. This meaningful feast reminds us all of the importance of solidarity and compassion for one another toward the achievement of our shared vision and goal,” ani de Lima.
Sa pananaw ni Senator Francs Pangilinan, isa itong pagkakataon na makiisa sa ating mga kapatid na Muslim. “For our Muslim brothers and sisters, Eid’l Adha is an occasion to reflect on the importance of sacrifice as a pillar of their faith.
