Lalarga na rin ang athletics competition ng Season 78 National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) sa Pebrero 25-27 sa Philsports oval sa Pasig City.
May 20 event ang nakataya sa athletics na paglalabanan ng mga atleta mula sa 10 miyembrong eskuwelahan ng pinakamatandang collegiate league sa bansa.
Ang Jose Rizal University, hawak ni national coach Jojo Posadas ang defending champion sa athletics.
“Our ultimate goal is to retain the title. We will go for it no matter how difficult is it because our mission is to keep the title,” sabi ni Posadas, husband-coach ni track legend at PSC athletic consultant Elma Muros-Posadas.
