Determinado si Angkla Party-list Rep. Jesulito A. Manalo na madadala sa kanayunan ang serbisyo ng Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) sa pamamagitan ng Regional Processing Center nito sa Negros Island Region.
“Concretizing steps to bring public services closer to the people, construction of a Marina Regional Processing Center would start soon in Negros,” ani Manalo, pangunahing may akda ng “Seafarers Protection Act of 2015”.
Si Manalo rin ang pangunahing may akda ng RA 10635 na nagtatatag sa “MARINA as the single maritime administration responsible for the implementation and enforcement of the 1978 International Convention on the Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, as amended, and International Agreements or Covenants related thereto.” (Bert de Guzman)
