Habang si Cabatian na grade five pupil ng Bienvenido R. Fojas Memorial Elementary School, isa sa top players ng General Trias City chess team under the guidance ni coach Ederwin Estavillo, ay giniba si Thunpisit Pa-In ng Thailand sa final round para maghari sa nineround tournament, Under 8 category ng Thailand Pattaya Youth Chess Championship 2018 na ginanap sa Bay Beach Resort Pattaya, Banglamung, Chin Buried sa Pattaya, Thailand nitong October 20 hanggang 24, 2018.
“I feel honored to be invited to play against one the country’s best kiddy player and I promise to play my best,” sabi ng 10 year old Cabatian.
