Tatlong miyembro ng men’s team ang magbibigay liderato at karanasan sa Philippine Junior Volcanoes U19 na sasagupain ang matinding karibal na Korea sa pagsabak sa 2016 U19 Asia Rugby Championship simula Miyerkules sa International School of Manila sa Taguig.

Ang tatlo ay sina Rhys Jacob Mackley, Kai Ledesma Stroem at Robert Benitez McCafferty, nakasabak na sa mga laro ng elite squad na Volcanoes’ Sevens ngayong taon at inaasahang mamumuno para sa mga Pinoy U19 sa tampok na Division 1 ng torneo kontra Korea, Singapore at United Arab Emirates.

“Korea is a well-funded, well trained and very organized. We have yet to win over them but the presence of the three will be a huge boost. The experience, knowledge and skills these players bring to the U19 is immense,” sabi ni Jake Letts, assistant coach ng First Pacific-sponsored na Junior Volcanoes.

“The young players can learn from these experienced players and make sure when they come to training and to the games, they can build from the knowledge and the skills,” aniya.

Makakasama ng troika ang mga mahuhusay na U19 sa bansa sa pamumuno ni Kingsley Ballesteros at Joshua Aragon na mula sa Clark Jets, at Fl-heritage mula Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada at United Kingdom.

Ang Junior Volcanoes at Koreans ay magkakaharap ganap na 6:30 ng gabi. (Angie Oredo)
