BEA KRIS AT BIMBY LANG_pls crop copy

Ang caption ni Kris sa kanyang Instagram post, “Perfect timing wanted to check new space for Potato Corner+Nacho Bimby, so we’re about to watch How To Be Yours w/ @beaalonzo. #moviebonding.”

All Media: “Are you a Choice A or Choice B type of person? If you’re an A, it’s Love over Career; if you’re a B, it’s Career over Love. In a perfect world you could easily have both.

“But when you’re just establishing yourself, from your mid-20s to your 30s, it’s a real dilemma. And that’s what #HowToBeYours explores in a very genuine way.”

“I appreciated how much truth Direk Dan Villegas gave the characters of Anj (Bea in her raw, luminous best) & Niño (Gerald showing heart melting vulnerability) that in a relationship we can lose objectivity & feel we’ve given our all, when actually the other still feels shortchanged.

“I don’t want to say more because the movie is a must watch & I don’t want to be a spoiler. But, if only to see the unique treatment of how they fell in love by a creatively executed montage of supermarket scenes -- I’ll watch the movie again just to feel how special the seemingly ordinary is when you allow yourself to trust in all that can be.”

Dagdag pa ni Kris, “Because in the movies just like in real life love is a choice -- and being given that choice is where the magic lies. That’s my take away from this movie, that we should embrace the moments when that choice, to love & be loved is ours to make.” (REGGEE BONOAN)
