Mahigpit ang babala ng Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) sa publiko na umiwas sa pagbili ng mga hindi rehistradong food products bunsod ng posibilidad na makasama ito sa kanilang kalusugan.
Kaugnay nito, nagpalabas ng public health warning ang FDA laban sa unregistered food product na ‘Best Life Herbal Syrup’ na nabibili ngayon sa merkado.
Batay sa FDA Advisory No. 2016-080, pinapayuhan ang publiko na huwag bilhin at gamitin ang naturang produkto dahil hindi ito rehistrado sa kanilang tanggapan.
“The public is hereby warned that the said product is not registered with this Office, including all the aforementioned claims,” bahagi ng advisory ng FDA.

“Taking food and/or food supplements that have not undergone evaluation and testing in terms of safety and quality may present harmful effects to one’s health,” ayon pa sa advisory.
Para sa kaligtasan ng publiko, inatasan na ng FDA ang mga opisyal ng Field Regulatory Operations Office (FROO) at mga local government units at law enforcement agencies na tiyaking ang naturang produkto ay hindi ipinagbibili o iniaalok sa kanilang lokalidad o area of jurisdiction.
