Nagpulong kahapon ang mga matataas na opisyals ng sangay ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) upang linawin at maisaayos ang direksyon hinggil sa detailed service ng military-athletes na kabilang sa mga pambansang koponan.
Nakipag-usap mismo kahapon si PSC Chairman Richie Garcia sa mga opisyales ng Philippine Army (PA), Philippine Air Force(PAF), Philippine Navy (PN) at Philippine National Police (PNP) upang muling pag-usapan ang kasunduan at pag-aralan ang mga dapat idagdag sa hinahangad na Memorandum of Agreement (MoA).
“The PSC wanted to have the Memorandum of Agreement be signed before the end of the month, so as not to delay and hamper the athletes and coaches in their preparation and training while wanting to qualify to the Rio Olympics” ani Garcia.

Ipinaliwanag naman ni PSC Executive Director Atty. Guillermo Iroy Jr. na pinag-usapan ng mga kinatawan mula sa military at goverment sports agency ang ilang kahilingan para sa mas detalyado at mabilis na proseso para sa pagpapahiram nito sa mga atletang nasa military service.
“They requested for proper procedure sa pagde-detailed service ng mga atleta at iyung proper monitoring din ng mga athletes and coaches during their training, on competition and after the tournament,” sabi ni Iroy Jr.
May na kabuuang 113 atleta at coaches na miyembro ng militar sa bansa na kabilang naman sa iba’t ibang national sports association (NSA’s).
