TULOY at walang plano na kanselahin ang nabinbin na division at national finals ng Chooks-to-Go Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League Lakan Season.
Sinabi ni league commissioner Kenneth Duremdes nitong Miyerkoles na walang kanselasyon sa nabanggit na liga matapos maitugil ang mga laro bunsod ng COVID-19 pandemic.
“We’re going to finish the season,” pahayag ni Duremdes. “We’re just waiting for the clearance of the national government.”

Ipinahayag ng Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang pagpapahaba ng Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine mula April 30 hanggang Mayo 15.
“First, we need to advise the four teams (San Juan-Go for Gold, Makati Super Crunch, Davao Occidental-Cocolife, Basilan-Jumbo Plastic) involved since they are all coming from inactivity and the players need to get back in shape,” ayon kay Duremdes.
“Then we need to consider the stand of the LGUs (local government units)."
“We can play as soon as the ECQ is lifted but behind closed doors. Hopefully the situation brightens up.”
Kapwa tabla sa 1-1 ang best of three division finals ng North division sa pagitan ng San Juan at Makati at South division finals sa pagitan ng Davao at Basilan.
Maglalaban sa National championship ang mananalo sa bawat division.
