NALUNGKOT ang fans ng isa sa Idol Philippines hopefuls na si Elle Ocampo nang ma-eliminate siya sa Idol Philippines Final Showdown nitong Linggo, July 21.

Dalawa sila ni Lance Busa na natira sa Bottom Two, pero ligtas si Lance at out si Elle. Nalungkot tuloy ang fans niya na belong sa tribu ng mga tomboyitas.

“Elle, maraming maraming salamat, palakpakan din n’yo naman si Elle. Thank you so much, Elle, sa pagbabahagi ng iyong talent dito sa entablado natin sa Idol Philippines,” malungkot na sabi ng host na si Billy Crawford kay Elle.

“Nag-start po ako sa Idol journey ko na hindi po ako masyado sure sa sarili ko. I was so scared. Pero sa encouragement ng mga friends ko at ‘yung mga naniniwala sa talent ko, I was encouraged to push on for whatever talents that I have.

“At ito naman po talaga ang gusto kong gawin, to push my singing career kahit saan ako magpunta,” pagre-recall ni Elle sa kanyang speech.

Tinanong naman ni Billy ang mga judges na sina Moira dela Torre, Regine Velasquez, Vice Ganda, at James Reid kung ano ang mensahe nila para kay Elle.

Sabi ni Moira, “Elle, alam mo kung may naniniwala sa second chances, third chances, fourth chances, ako ‘yon. And I just want you to know that I will always believe in you. I am a fan and please never stop because you are amazing.”

“Elle, you have an amazing talent. Very unique voice, and I think this industry na napakalaki will have a space for you. Para sa akin, keep singing and congratulations sweetheart, this is not the end, only the beginning,” sabi naman ni Regine.

Mensahe ni Vice, “Elle, pana-panahon lang. Huwag kang mapapagod, ha? Habaan mo ang pisi mo. Pana-panahon lang talaga. Congratulations!”

“Elle, I’m so sad to see you go, though your Idol journey ends here but you still have a long way to go. I would like to work with you in the future,” sey naman ni James.

So there, Elle Ocampo! Idol Philippines is not the end of your singing journey but only the beginning, ‘ika nga ni Regine Velasquez.

Niwey, ang limang natitirang finalists to become the first Idol Philippines title holder ay sina Lucas Garcia, Zephanie Dimaranan, Dan Ombao, Miguel Ordon at Lance Busa, na maglalaban-laban sa final round next Sabado at Sunday night, July 27 and July 29, respectively.
