Pormal na ipinahayag ng Warriors management ang pagbabalik ni Thompson para sa Game 4 ng NBA Finals Biyernes ng gabi (Sabado sa Manila). Tangan ng Toronto Raptors anng 2-1 bentahe matapos manalo sa Game 3 kung saan na-sideline ang shooting forward bunsod ng hamsting injury.

“We can’t fall into the trap of thinking offense alone is going to win us another championship or letting that end of the floor affect our defense,” pahayag ni Stephen Curry, kumana ng postseason career-best 47 puntos sa Game 3.

Nanatili namang negatibo na makalaro si two-time NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant nanagtamong ‘strained right calf’.

“He’s a great defender. I think he’s one of the best, right up there at the top of the best wing defenders in the league,” sambit ni Raptors coach Nick Nurse, hingil sa pagbabalik ni Thompson. “He’s probably underrated in that department. He really puts in some awesome defensive performances for them, especially when they really need them.”
