Iginiit ni Senador Leila de Lima na dapat kasuhan sina dating Department of Tourism (DoT) Secretary Wand Tulfo-Teo at Tourism Promotions Board (PTB) chief Cesar Montano kaugnay sa ilegal na pagggamit ng pondo ng ahensiya.
Aniya, hindi dapat matigil ang isyu sa pagbitiw sa tungkulin ng mga ito at tukuyin din kung sinu-sino pa ang mga sangkot.
“The accountability of former Secretary Teo as well as her undersecretaries and assistant secretaries, for the apparent gross misuse of government funds, must not be terminated by the simple fact of their resignation,” ani De Lima.
Ikinasa ni De Lima ang Senate Resolution No. 740 na naglalayong imbestigahan ang labis na paggastos nina Tulfo-Teo at Montano sa pondo ng DoT.
