Sinabi ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na mas mabuti pang kalimutan na ni Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) founder Jose Ma. “Joma” Sison ang pagbabalik sa Pilipinas kung ayaw nitong makulong.

Ito ay kasunod ng paglagda ng Pangulo sa Proclamation No. 360, na opisyal na nagkakansela sa usapang pangkapayapaan ng gobyerno sa CPP-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF).

Ayon kay Duterte, ipinag-utos niya sa militar ang pagdakip sa mga opisyal ng CPP-NPA-NDF—na pansamantala niyang pinalaya upang makibahagi sa mga negosasyon—kapag dumating ang mga ito sa bansa, kabilang na si Sison.

“If Joma Sison comes here, I will arrest him or if I were him, ‘wag na siyang bumalik dito,” sinabi ni Duterte nang magtalumpati siya sa San Beda Law Alumni Homecoming sa Makati City, nitong Biyernes ng gabi.

“I released about 32 of them, political leaders, ideological leaders, to show good faith and the confidence building period which is really very necessary in talking to them and to the enemies of the state,” dagdag ng Presidente.

AYAW IPALIBING SA ‘PINAS

Sinabi ni Duterte na hindi niya papayagan na magbalik sa bansa at dito mailibing ang “dying” na pinuno ng mga Komunista.

“I will not allow him to enter his native land and that is a very painful experience especially if you’re dying and you think na you should be buried in your own cemetery, in your own town,” aniya.

Ipinagkibit-balikat din ng Pangulo ang mga huling pagbatikos sa kanya ni Sison, na inakusahan siyang nananabotahe sa peace talks at tinagurian siyang numero unong terorista sa Pilipinas.

“You are entitled to your own opinion but the fact is we cannot ever agree on the so many things that you demand of me,” mensahe ni Duterte kay Sison, na dati niyang propesor sa kolehiyo.

HANDA NA SA PAGDAKIP

Kaugnay nito, inihayag ng mga field unit commander ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at Philippine National Police (PNP) na naghihintay lamang sila ng instruksiyon mula sa kani-kanilang headquarters kaugnay ng gagawing pag-aresto sa mga NDF consultant, na hindi pa umano nila madadakip sa ngayon “without proper directive and guidance from respective higher officials from the central command”.

“We did not even receive yet the formal proclamation that the CPP-NPA-NDF is a terrorist organization, even though that we already called them communist terrorists, based on their extortion and burning of equipment activities,” sabi ng isang field unit Army commander na ayaw magpabanggit ng pangalan.

Nasa 40 NDF consultant ang pansamantalang pinalaya, bagamat ilan sa mga ito ay nabigyan na ng pardon ng Pangulo.

Alinsunod sa Joint Agreement on Security and Immunity Guarantees (JASIG), babawin ang proteksiyon at immunities 30 araw makaraang matanggap ang formal notice ng pagbasura sa negosasyong pangkapayapaan.
