Kabilang sa mga kilalang alumni na pinarangalan sina Romel Adducul at Egay Macaraya ng San Sebastian, Sunday Salvation at Jonathan Grey ng St.Benilde, Gary David ng Lyceum, Kerby Raymundo at Raymund Almazan ng Letran, Chito Victolero at Atoy Co ng Mapua at sina Vergel Meneses at Philip Cesar ng Jose Rizal University.

“The purpose of this is to acknowledge the fruit of the NCAA We also recognized their contribution to theor fields,” sambit ni Tolentin.

Ayon pa kay Tolentin may kaugnayan din ito sa tema ng selebrasyon ngayong season na Reignite : Braver, Bolder, Stronger dahil hangad nilang mabigyang inspirasyon ang kanilang mga manlalaro na pagbutihin at palaguin ang kanilang buhay.

Kinilala rin ang kahusayan nang mga dating player na nagbigay ng dangal sa kani-kanilang eskwelahan tulad nina Arellano University’s Jiovani Jalalon at Nard Pinto, College of St. Benilde’s Jonathan Grey at Sunday Salvacion, Emilio Aguinaldo College’s Christ Mejos at Ariel Sison, Lyceum of the Philippines University’s Gary David, San Sebastian College-Recoletos’ Rommel Adducul, Egay Macaraya, and Boy Mora, Mapua’s Chito Victolero, at Letran’s Raymond Almazan.

“This time we invited the icons of their institution because their presence is more than the words to be given by a certain visitor. Also, we also recognized their contributions to their fields,” aniya.

BInigyan din ng parangal ang mga taong may kaugnayan sa liga na umangat sa kanilang piniling propesyon tulad nina businessman James Tan Sy ng San Beda College, board topnotcher Dr. Karl Mercader, military officer Rosendo Moro Dial ng University of Perpetual Help at DJ Jhaiho ng LPU.

Nakatakdang magharap ang defending champion San Beda at host San Sebastian matapos ang opening rites kasunod ang Arellano at Mapua.
