Sinaksihan kahapon ni Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Director General Benjamin Delos Santos ang pagpapalaya sa 34 na bilanggo mula sa Sablayan Prison and Penal Farm sa Mindoro Occidental.
Nagulat naman ang mga pinalayang preso sa biglaan nilang paglaya.
“President Duterte wants an expedited review of all cases with pending release with specific instructions that corruption must stop and drugs must not proliferate in any of the seven penal colonies in the Philippines,” ani Delos Santos.
