Ipinagmalaki ni Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon na pito sa sampung naipasang batas ng Senado bago mag-adjourn nitong Linggo ay pinangunahan ng mga miyembro ng minorya.

“While we may criticize or oppose, the minority bloc has shown that it has also been supportive of legislative proposals that would benefit our country and our people. We are the most productive group in the Senate. We did the lion’s share of the work in passing landmark legislation and bills of national significance,” ani Drilon.

Kabilang sa minorya sina Sens. Francis Pangilinan, Bam Aquino at Leila De Lima, Risa Hontiveros, at Sonny Trillanes IV.

Ilan sa mga batas na isinulong ng minorya ang Affordable Higher Education Act for All (Aquino); Free Internet Access in Public Places Act (Aquino); Expanded Maternity Leave Law (Hontiveros); Mental Health Act (Hontiveros); Philippine Food Technology Act (Trillanes); Speech Language Pathology Act (Trillanes); at ang adjustment sa kasalukuyang halaga ng piso sa 87-taong Revised Penal Code (Drilon).
