DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Umusad si top-ranked Andy Murray sa ikalawang sunod na finals ngayong season nang dominahin si seventh-seeded Lucas Pouille, 7-5-61, nitong Biyernes (Sabado sa Manila) sa Dubai Tennis Championships.

Liyamado si Murray, natalo sa Qatar Open final kay Novak Djokovic nitong Enero, tangan ang 45 career title laban sa unseeded na si Fernando Verdasco sa championship match. Tangan niya ang 12-1 bentahe sa career duel.

Sa kabila nito, aminado ang three-time Grand Slam champion na delikadong karibal si Verdasco.

"He can generate a lot of power, he can control the ball," sambit si Murray.

"And when he's dictating the points, he's one of the best in the world at doing that."

Nakalusot si Verdasco nang talunin si unseeded Robin Haase 7-6 (5), 5-7, 6-1. Nagwagi rin siya kina sixth-seeded Roberto Bautista Agut sa first round at No. 4 Gael Monfils sa quarterfinals.

"It's an amazing week so far," pahayag ni Verdasco, target ang unang career title.
