Naniniwala si Vice President Leni Robredo na ang kanyang opisina, ang Office of the Vice President (OVP), ay palaging “under threat” – lalo na sa kampo ni dating Senador Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr.
“It will always be under threat,” pahayag ni Robredo sa isang panayam sa telebisyon nitong Biyernes. “Not really people but it’s just Bongbong Marcos and his supporters but I can’t allow that to disturb me from what I do in the Office,” dugtong niya.
Sa kabila ng electoral protest na inihain ng kampo ni Marcos, sinabi ni Robredo na pagtutuunan na lamang niya ng pansin ang mga programa at proyekto ng OVP. “All the allegations are not really backed by evidence,” dagdag niya.
Ipinagdiinan ni Robredo na hindi niya isinusubsob ang sarili sa paghahanda sa kaso. “I leave that all to my lawyers so I can concentrate at what I am doing,” sabi niya. “We only have six years and it is not nearly enough to do what we want to do,” sabi pa ng Bise Presidente.
