Kinumpirma ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) na ang negosyanteng si Peter Lim at ang sinasabing ‘Peter Lim’ sa drug list ng ahensya ay iisa.
“Lim’s name is included in the updated list of targeted individuals linked to drugs that was submitted to President (Rodrigo) Duterte. The list is a product of regular intelligence workshops where PDEA and the Philippine National Police (PNP) validate information about drug suspects. Upon validation, they will be the subject of future negation operations,” ayon kay PDEA Director General Isidro S. Lapeña.
Sa kasalukuyan, isinasailalim pa sa masusing imbestigasyon ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang Cebuano businessman, base na rin sa kautusan ni Pangulong Duterte noong sumuko sa kanya si Lim.
Mahigpit na pinabulaanan ni Lim na siya ang ‘Peter Lim’ na sinasabi ng Pangulo na sangkot sa illegal drug trade.

“PDEA is still waiting for the result of the NBI’s investigation on Lim. Once evidence indicates that Lim is one of the top three drug lords operating in the country, then the NBI will file a case against him before the Department of Justice (DOJ),” dagdag pa ni Lapeña.- Chito A.
