SALN ng gov't officials, employees pinasusumite na ng CSC
Inatasan na ng Civil Service Commission (CSC) ang lahat ng opisyal at empleyado ng pamahalaan na magsumite na ng kanilang Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) nang hindi lalagpas sa Abril 30.
“We would like to emphasize to all government officials and employees the importance of submitting the updated declaration under oath of our assets and liabilities. As civil servants, it is our duty to complete this task truthfully to promote transparency and uphold the public's trust in both us and the bureaucracy,” pahayag ni CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles.
Sa ilalim ng 1987 Philippine Constitution at Republic Act No. 6713, o ang Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees, kinakailangang iharap ng mga opisyal at kawani ng pamahalaan ang kanilang SALN kada taon.
Binanggit pa ng CSC, kailangang maisampa ang SALN ng mga bagong naninilbihan sa pamahalaan 30 araw mula nang maupo sila sa puwesto, o sa loob ng 30 araw mula nang mawala sila sa government service.
