Umapela si Vice President Sara Duterte sa publiko na ihinto ang pagsasagawa ng mga motorcade at vehicle caravan bilang anyo ng protesta.
Ito ay sa gitna ng umiigting na sigalot sa Middle East na ugat ng pagsipa ng presyo ng petrolyo sa merkado.
Sa latest Facebook post ni VP Sara nitong Martes, Marso 3, sinabi niyang bagama’t nauunawaan niya ang pagnanais ng ilan na ihayag ang kanilang galit sa administrasyon o pagsuporta kay dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte , mahalaga umanong alalahanin ang epekto sa paligid ng mga gawaing tulad ng motorcade at vehicle caravan.
“While I fully understand the desire to gather and express anger against the administration or show support to Former President Rodrigo Duterte, it is, however, more important to be mindful of how these activities impact others and the environment,” saad ni VP Sara.
Kaya naman hinikayat niyang tumuklas ng ibang paraan ng pagkilos na higit na sustenable at hindi masyadong nakakagambala.

Dagdag pa niya, “At the same time, we must confront the crisis of loss of jobs of OFWs coming home, as well as the sharp increase in the cost of food and other essential commodities.”
Bukod dito, nanawagan din siya sa mga lokal na pamahalaan na permanenteng i-ban ang mga motorcade at vehicle caravan—ito man ay para sa kapistahan o politikal na pagtitipon.
