NAGPASIKLAB ang 21-anyos at walang talong si flyweight Jayson Mama nang magwagi sa kanyang unang laban sa abroad makaraang talunin sa 10-round unanimous decision si Chinese Yinhuan Su sa quarterfinal round ng 2018 IBF Silk Road Tournament nitong Linggo ng gabi sa Wynn Palace Cotai sa Macau, China.
“Mama earned the nod of the judges with his pinpoint jabs as he sealed the win with a dominating performance in the final three rounds of the 10-round duel,” ayon sa ulat ng Philboxing.com.
Nagwagi si Mama sa mga iskor na 97-93, 96-94 at 96-94 sa tatlong huradong pawang Chinese.

Napaganda ni Mama ang kanyang rekord sa perpektong 11 panalo na may 6 na pagwawagi sa knockouts samantalang bumagsak ang kartada ni Su sa 6-3-0 na may 1 panalo sa knockout.
Pinuri naman ni Sanman Promotions big boss Jim Claude Manangquil ang alaga niyang boksingero.
“He out-boxed his opponent. His jabs were precise but it was really in the last three rounds where he dominated his opponent,” ani Manangquil. “It was a great win and we look forward to the next round. We are happy with the win but the main goal is to win the tournament.”
