DAVAO CITY – Idinawit ng Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) ang US Government sa military operations laban sa Abu Sayyaf Group na pumatay sa mag-asawang sibilyan noong Abril 11 sa Inabangan, Bohol.
“The news stories regarding the supposed arrival and presence of members of the Abu Sayaff criminal bandit group in Bohol island smacks of a US yarn. The Filipino people find most of the press statements released by the military, police and local government officials as highly suspect,” ayon sa pahayag na inisyu ng CPP noong Abril 14.
Napo.
“The AFP media office, known for spinning fake news stories, has produced a highly dubious story of no less than 60 fully armed men who travelled three hundred kilometers by boat from Sulu to Bohol, unhampered by the whole AFP establishment, then upstream to a place unknown to them with only a general plan to ‘target tourists,”
“This story is a typical of the tall tales spun by the US Central Intelligence Agency and their conspirators within the Philippine defense and security establishment,” ayon dito.
Kinuwestiyon din nito ang oras ng travel advisory warning na inisyu ng US Embassy bago mangyari ang Bohol clash, “which the AFP and PNP (Philippine National Police) had no idea of.”
Nag-isyu ang US Embassy ng travel advisory noong Abril 9, nagsasabing nakatanggap ito ng “unsubstantiated yet credible information that terrorist groups may attempt to conduct kidnappings in Central Visayas, which included both Cebu and Bohol provinces. US citizens are advised to carefully consider this information as you make travel plans, and to review personal security plans, avoid large crowds and gatherings, and remain vigilant at all times.”
“The US Embassy wishes to remind US citizens of the most recent Worldwide Caution, dated March 7, 2017, which indicated there is an ongoing threat of terrorists actions and violenceagainst the US citizens and interests abroad, including the Philippines,” ayon sa US Embassy. (Antonio L. Colina IV)
