LUSAKA (AFP)— Inaresto at kinasuhan ng Zambian police noong Biyernes ang isang dating opisyal ng gobyerno sa pagdidiwang sa pagkamatay kamakailan ni President Michael Sata sa pamamagitan ng pagpapaputok ng baril.

“We arrested and charged Guston Sichilima because he fired eight rounds of nine millimetres in the air,” ani Charity Katanga, police commissioner ng Northern Province. “He was charged with the offence of conduct likely to cause a breach of the peace after he fired in the air when we are still mourning our president.”

Si Sata, 77, ay namatay noong Martes habang nagpapagamot sa King Edward VII hospital ng London sa hindi ibinunyag na karamdaman.
